Band Bio

Lavoo Music is a piano & vocal blues/jazz duo run by Malcolm & Joanna.  The sounds of Lavoo Music ranges from intimate blues to energetic blues boogies, & also to warm romantic love songs, both classic and current.

We also have access to a range of other musicians which can be incorporated to provide varying dynamics to create your desired atmosphere for your big day .  (As an example, this offers options such as a duo plus saxophone or trumpet, or a 5 piece group including a rhythm section.)

Malcolm and Joanna individually hold an expansive history of musical performance.  Since combining their ardour of music they are focusing on creating performances that will ignite warmth in your soul.

Joanna began her performing career in Singapore;  Malcolm in Christchurch, New Zealand.  Both have performed internationally and on a diverse rage of platforms.

For your special day, it would be our pleasure to add a touch of class, glamour, elegance, and mystique, that only music can bring.

After an initial meeting to discuss your day, you can rest assured knowing that your musical requirements (including sound system hire if required) are in safe hands.
