Ma Shot Pa fit into our casual intimate wedding of 80 perfectly. We were running an hour late and the guys just took it in their stride with no fuss. They played to the crowd - lots of 60s faves for the older crowd, and then when they headed home they moved on to recent tunes for the younger crowd - it was a great mix. The groom particularly enjoyed their last song - an excellent rendition of 'Heart of Gold' with the front man Chris on the harmonica, and the bride didn't leave the dance floor the entire night!

Just a quick note (we’re currently up north at another wedding!) to say THANK YOU GUYS SO SO SO MUCH for playing at our wedding last weekend! We’re sorry we didn’t get more of a chance to chat with you guys more on the night, but the music was just awesome!! Everyone has said was a great choice of band it was – couldn’t have been better. The tunes you played seemed to appeal to everybody – even those not up dancing said they loved just sitting back listening to you. It sounded awesome. The 4 campers there are the end were rapt with their private concert too! ha ha! We hope Richie’s AC/DC vocals weren’t too painful! Sorry about the remote location – pleased you found your way ok! You were so accommodating with the travel etc too, thank you. Thanks so much for coming and for making the night so memorable. We hope to catch up with you again – we might come up to Wellington sometime soon.’

Ma Shot Pa played at our wedding recently and they were fantastic! They played a great range of music which had everyone up and dancing for majority of the wedding. We received many positive comments from our guests about the band. Chris was great to deal with when initially organizing the band and on the night they set up and packed away very efficiently. Most importantly they were there to have fun too and they really shared our special night with us which made it all the more special. I can’t thank them enough and would definitely recommend them to anyone’

Thanks again for a great night. We had so many compliments on the band and I haven’t seen my Nana dance like that in ages!!! Your selection of music was great, oldies in the beginning for the oldies and newer stuff later on for us. It really made the whole day just watching everyone have such a blast. Would highly recommend you to anyone.’

You guys are awesome, thank you for making our wedding night so much fun. Sorry for trying to get you to play past curfew. I didn’t see the noise police turn up. We would have had a hefty fine if you’d listened to the “encore” chants. But you guys played so much great music!! I would recommend you to anyone planning a wedding or party!!
