Wedding Band Auckland

Band Bio

Whitewash is an Auckland covers band playing pop and rock songs from the last 40 years.

Whitewash has a wide repertoire catering to a variety of age groups. Playing both older hits from bands like Doobie Brothers and Lynyrd Skynyrd, and more recent tracks from Sublime and Kings of Leon (and everything in between), they can create a sound and atmosphere suited to any style of wedding.

Whitewash is primarily an acoustic trio with Mark Tronson as a frontman, Zahn Trotter on guitar and Ryan Carroll on drums and percussion. While Whitewash most often performs as a trio, they are available in any configuration from a solo performer right through to a full six piece band.

Weddings are Whitewash’s specialty. They have kept crowds entertained at weddings all over the North Island, from the Bay of Islands to South Taranaki. They can provide acoustic afternoon entertainment as a duo or trio, or a loud and energetic performance with 4 or more band members to keep people dancing all night.

Whitewash played at our wedding two weeks ago and they rocked! They played songs the crowd loved and at the end of the night we heard chants of "One More Song!". They have an extensive playlist and also learnt our first dance song and did a fantastic job of it! They are professional to deal with and were really flexible with all our requests. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good covers band! Thank you Whitewash!

FIVE STARS - We booked Whitewash for our beach/garden wedding in Waitakere after hearing them play in Matakana. They have a fantastic repertoire and played an amazing set tailored just to us - they even learned a special song for our first dance. We had so many people telling us how impressed they were with the band, even the people who 'don't dance' couldn't help but get up and jump around. The guys literally played until their fingers bled! When the night ended everyone called for an encore and I'm still getting requests for their contact details. Friendly, professional, and totally the coolest covers band. We had so much fun, thank you for topping off an amazing day. Wish we could fly you back to the UK for wedding part two!

We found Whitewash to be really nice, genuine guys who were professional, polite and best of all played great music we love. We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending or hiring them again in the future.
  • Andrew and Ariana Duncan - Wedding 1 January 1970
We had Whitewash play at our marquee wedding in Wanganui. They sounded awesome and the crowd loved them. We would not hesitate in recommending them for any gig. Thanks guys for making our wedding a great success, we wish you all the best for the future and if we are up your way we would love to come to one of your gigs again.
